Have you ever heard the terms 3D, 4D and 5D consciousness and wondered what it all means? Maybe you’ve heard explanations and feel confused as to what it involves in a ‘walking the earth’ kind of way? This simply explained overview will help you understand the terms so clearly, you’ll be a pro at explaining it to anyone who ever asks you!
So let’s start with; what is 3D?
The easiest way I like to explain this is ‘as thinking with your head and not your heart’. It’s the reality of your ego which results in a lower vibrational way of living, and the world of media driven fear doesn’t help either, (and yes that does include social media). Living in 3D has a societal need of knowing who is to blame, who is at fault and of taking no responsibility. When we live in a 3D consciousness, we are reliant on hierarchical systems that tell us what to do, including governments (all the systems they cover including education, healthcare and financial), religious orders and institutions.
In 3D consciousness we do not comprehend that we have the power of creation. We believe that life depends on working hard. Miracles, if they do happen, come from divine intervention after much grovelling on our knees in prayer. In the 3D system, we can never win and we will never be enough (think billionaires having to regularly upgrade their superyachts in order to keep up with each other), and we will never have internal satisfaction. Living in 3D consciousness means that we are not only judged, but we judge others and so the pattern repeats. It’s like a never ending loop to nowhere.
Some 3D emotions and feelings are fear, hatred, spite, shame, grief, rage, anger, blame, worthlessness, jealousy, vengefulness, despair and drama.
I always like people to remember that grief, whilst it is low vibrational, has huge transformational power.
So now we’ve discussed 3D, Let’s move onto 4D
This is the first state of ‘awakeness’. In 4D we are starting to identify ‘shoulds’ and ‘oughts’, which are based on our internal beliefs due to what we have been told. We are starting to realise that we never ‘should’ do something or feel we ‘ought’ to do it.
In 4D consciousness we recognise the concept that we can create our own reality; we have the belief that when we are aligned or we are in flow then we can manifest. We have realised that when we are in conflict we are in absolute chaos. 4D consciousness believes in rituals like vision boards, mantras, journalling and intense focus. These ensure we take responsibility and have the power for our own lives and follow the teachings of advanced Gurus. This is a higher vibrational way of living than when in 3D. When you live in 4D the focus is on emotions and feelings of hope, contentment, optimism, enthusiasm, trust and acceptance.
And Finally; what is 5D?
5D is coming purely from the heart and is based on the desire to feel love. It is a stabilised high frequency and a consistent high vibration. It is living in a way that means you are taking responsibility for your part in life. In 5D consciousness you have probably moved away from low frequency people and places or at the very least, recognise them.
When you live in 5D you understand that you create your own reality and you accept that your thoughts are creating this all the time - these internal beliefs and thoughts therefore reflect your reality. This results in you knowing that life really is what you make it. 5D consciousness is living in high self-worth with a high sense of entitlement and loving beliefs towards yourself and others. There is no judgement in 5D living.
When you start to think like this, then you believe in an outcome basis rather than problem thinking. Therefore if you believe in the solution you want and you ‘throw it up there’, thereby letting go of the hows and whys, you have absolute certainty that the solution will be provided. This is not about relinquishing your responsibility as you are completely accountable for your life creation through your thoughts. This knowing and trust means that the solution is going to be there for you.
In this higher vibrational place you become your own Guru. You connect to your heart to find answers rather than looking externally for the solution. This can be done initially through meditation, although as your skills develop, you become more intuitive and knowing. 5D living results in you having emotions and feelings that are of a high vibration such as love, joy, worthy, capable, bliss, collaborative, Synchronicity, and grace.
SO what vibration am I?
One of the popular misconceptions is that people are either in one vibration or another, but that is not true. We move through all of them over varying points of a day (read hour for some of life's more challenging times!). Remember 5D has a consistent high vibration. You may find it easier to understand if you visualise it like a game of snakes and ladders: Where you might be feeling in a low vibrational mood and so in 3D, you can go up a ladder and be in a 5D emotion on the 90s row. Then something else may happen and you slip back down a snake to a lower row and thus back into 3D.
True living in 5D comes from a mastery of maintaining this high vibration and consistently loving life. This doesn’t happen overnight but a great starting point at shifting into higher vibrational living is in recognising where you are at, and what has caused you to be there. Remember - No Judgement! We are all doing the best we can, with what we have!
